Simon is perhaps one of the most experienced and highly qualified personal trainers in West London.

He graduated with a degree in Physical Education from Manchester University in 1988 and spent the following few years coaching sports and deciding whether he wanted to be a teacher.  In 1991 however, Simon instead chose to pursue his interest in the scientific aspects of sport and exercise. After a year of study in the department of Medical Physics and Clinical Engineering at Sheffield a University he graduated with a Masters Degree in Sport and Exercise Science. With neither the funds or inclination to do a PhD at the time he returned to London and began his career in the fitness industry. Initially Simon worked in the city of London at some if the cities premier health clubs including the Fitness Exchange, Cottons and Lambs. He later went on to work as a Personal trainer and then Fitness Manager at Lambton Place Health Club (latterly BodyWorksWest) in Notting Hill.

Simon is an accomplished sportsman with a wide range of experience.  He played district and county level football at school and also played for Hanwell Town FC as a youth and young man. While at university he continued his football career but also played basketball and a plethora of other sports including tennis, badminton, cricket and karate. After university Simon took up running and triathlon. In triathlon he has competed at every distance from sprint to Ironman and in 2006 he finished 23rd in the UK half ironman championships (70.3) against over 400 of his contemporaries. In running he has competed in road races from 5k upwards and has run 10 Marathons including 5 London Marathons. His proudest running achievement was going sub 3 hours in the 2004 London Marathon but he also has a 60 minute 10 mile and and 36 minute 10k to his name.

Added together all of this equals a high level knowledge, expertise and experience.  So whether you want to improve your conditioning for sport, lose weight, stay fit during and after pregnancy, get back into shape after injury or illness or just want to improve your general health, fitness and wellbeing, Simon has the answers.
